Dear e-News friends and church members,No need to even think about it!This was the reply given by three very brave men to a proud arrogant king! And in so doing placed their lives in mortal danger.They were still young, with a very successful and lucrative life before them, yet now everything was on the line. Regardless of the loss or the cost they still said, ‘we don’t even need to think about it.’They were, of course, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who by refusing to bow down to the 90’ golden statue were hurled into the fiery furnace. And so we learn that if you won’t bow you won’t burn.And the three men become four as Jesus joins them in the fiery furnace.It’s one of the greatest miracle stories of the Bible.Today as we go through so many fires of affliction as they did, we also must refuse to compromise.Don’t compromise on God’s ways, God’s word or compromise on God’s call.These guys ended up promoted and blessed.
