Dear e-News friends & church members,Day 3 Prayer & FastingLet’s remember who’s in charge - Jesus is! As you pray and fast for justice to be done, salvation to rise, or God’s values and love to be shown use the name of Jesus. "He disarmed those who once ruled over us—those who had overpowered us. Like captives of war, He put them on display to the world to show His victory over them by means of the cross." - Colossians 2:15 (Voice Translation)He gave His name to us with some key points to action. "Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:18 (The Message Translation)Expect miracles to demonstrate there’s power in His name. "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well." - Mark 16:17-18 (Amplified Translation)This is a spiritual battle that Jesus has already won and we’re here to enforce His victory.
