Dear e-News friends & church members,Day 5 Prayer & FastingDear e-News friends and church members,Day 5 Prayer & FastingDear e-News friends & church family,Fasting Exposes & Reverses Injustice "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injusticeand untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?" - Isaiah 58: 6-7When we fast alone things change for us, when we fast together, things change for all of us.This week we have focussed on the terrible treatment we suffered when our conference was unjustly pulled from its venue in Edinburgh.God will reverse that injustice!What is true for others is true for me and you...Unfair treatment at work? God can reverse that.Stuck in business? God can reverse that.Relationships not going the way you had hoped? God can reverse that.A nation becoming increasingly unlike the Christian values that built it?You know what I am going to say, don't you?God can reverse that too!In another verse we read:"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" - Jeremiah 32:27We used to sing a song when I was first around church with a repeating chorus...“Nothing is too difficult for thee”While we pray for the things that concern us all this week, do not hesitate to include some personal petitions of your own.Fasting exposes and reverses injustice, individual and corporate!
