Day 4

PRAYER & FASTING

Last night's Holy Spirit night was just amazing as we prayed for SURGE, Easter and the many outreaches coming up. All chairs had been removed so that we could pack in as many people as possible.Yesterday alone, we had 7 new decisions for Jesus in Kirkintilloch and 4 new decisions for Jesus, plus 2 recommitments at the Holy Spirit Night last night.

God is on the move and taking us with Him!We read:'As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move quickly, because that will mean the LORD has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.' 

 2 Sam 5:24

An unusual way for a directive to come. The sound in the top of the trees! I wonder what David heard?Was it a rustle of leaves? Did he hear horses and horsemen? Did he question what he heard? Was that God or did I imagine it? AND was he the only one who heard it, or did they all hear it?One thing for sure is that there is a clear sound going amongst us at the moment. It’s coming through our praying, our prophesying and birthing with anticipation in our spirits.With over 20 outreaches planned, Easter Sunday around the corner and SURGE coming up, we know God has gone out ahead of us.Two things must happen when God gets going: A prepared moment and a prepared people.The first is God’s prerogative, He sets the scenes in people’s hearts and minds, the second is ours. David has to wait for the sound but then he needed to attack.We are hearing the sound - let’s get ready to move!!We can do this by heeding the present message The Power of ONE.

Please:

• Make sure that you are personally signed up for SURGE by this weekend. It’s the last early bird weekend. Invite others to come with you.
• Please note the outreach meetings in your area and get involved.
• Please keep making Every Friday a Good Friday and speak up
• Please step up in faith this month as we reach into The Make It In March moment. We need to be a 100% tithing church to bring in the harvest.

We continue praying and fasting this week. Pray for:

• The biggest harvest of souls we have seen
• Pray that we will be ready and well equipped for the follow up
• Pray for Lou Walls and her admin team who gather and look after all the data coming in
• Pray for all the District Pastors as they take responsibility for the follow up
• Pray for new Growth Group leaders to emerge as we plant into new areas
• Pray for new volunteer start up teams of people as we plant new locations
