Prayer & Fasting Jan 2020 | Day 6
Craig Denham
Week of prayer and fasting day six: Saturday
Pray About Everything!"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)There really is no surer way to find peace than to attain it through prayer. What are you anxious about at the moment? Have you prayed about it?What kinds of situations can I pray about some people ask.Every situation is the answer!Philippians 4 contains the invitation to end all invitations, read it carefully, here it comes, “present your requests to God!” Wow! Have you done it?Stop and pause for a moment and go right ahead, pray and expect an answer, today.Don’t just take my word for it, here is what Myles Munroe says…"Fasting increases your ability to move in spiritual power." - Myles MunroeAnd the benefit of you taking up the invitation to present you requests?"…and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."As you pray today with your heart full of peace, join us in praying for the following…
- Our kids ministry to flourish and our kids to know the peace of God.
- Our youth work to prosper and our youth to have growing confidence in God’s promises.
- Our students and young adults to be bold, live passionately for God and to put Him before all things.
- For those being baptised on the 26th January to live in the blessing of their new life.
Enjoy the peace of the Lord today and everyday,Craig
